I never set out to open a gym—I set out to solve a problem. My philosophy is simple: Move better. Feel better. Look better. Since I started working in the fitness world 15+ years ago, I’ve seen a pattern of injuries, pain, and unsustainable training methods in the industry. I don’t just want to help people move—I want to help them move better, feel better, and ultimately look better in a way that lasts.

At the end of the day, my goal is to get people excited about strength in a safe, fun, and sustainable way. Personal training doesn’t have to be expensive, lonely, or intimidating. It can be affordable, social, and built to last. We are, after all, stronger together.

Outside of fitness, my first love is video games. My second is my family. I’m married to the strongest woman I know, Brittany, and together we have two incredible kids, Ivy and Calvin, plus a dog named Waffles (because, obviously).

  • I started my fitness career 14 years ago as a yoga instructor, then moved into CrossFit and tactical strength and conditioning. That eventually led me to massage school, where I studied pain management, rehabilitation, and movement science under doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapists.

  • I take a Socratic approach to fitness—I don’t pretend to have all the answers, and I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, I ask questions, do the research, and guide my clients toward the best path for them. That’s why our programs prioritize mobility, pain management, and proper movement patterns before chasing aesthetics—because when you fix the foundation, everything else falls into place.

  • In 2024, I took that philosophy a step further when I embraced medical intervention for weight loss. After struggling with my own weight fluctuations, I lost nearly 40 pounds in 4 months using a GLP-1 receptor agonist, combined with strength training and healthy eating.

    Where most fitness professionals reject these medications, I see them as a game-changing tool—when used correctly, they can help people lose weight, keep it off, and build lifelong healthy habits. In 2025, Sessions Personal Training partnered with medical doctors in California to provide comprehensive weight loss solutions for clients who need more than just diet and exercise.

Your team of coaches are educated in more than just personal training. They are qualified to guide you in comprehensive physical, mental, and emotional well-being. In fact, we are one of the first gyms with coaches who have completed Precision Nutrition’s Stress, Sleep, and Recovery Certification. We are proud to share healthy lifestyle education using materials sourced from the American Sleep Association, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
