A highly skilled personal trainer and fitness coach with over 15 years of experience, Zach helps clients achieve their health and performance goals by combining a deep understanding of human movement, motivation, and behavior change.
As the Head Coach at Sessions Personal Training in Mar Vista, CA, Zach leads a team of elite trainers, manages client programs, and has played a key role in expanding the business to a second location. His approach is rooted in scientifically-backed training methods, blending strength training, functional movement, and nutritional guidance to help clients of all fitness levels—from beginners to advanced athletes—reach their full potential.
Prior to his current role, Zach worked as a coach at Allegiate Gym, Unbreakable Performance, and Equinox Fitness Clubs, where he served as a Master Instructor and Tier 3+ Coach. In all these roles, he educated new and experienced trainers in program design, interpersonal communication, and sports science. His ability to simplify complex training concepts and apply them in a practical, results-driven manner has earned him a reputation as a top-tier trainer and educator.
Zach stays at the forefront of the industry by continuously investing in professional development through attending clinics, webinars, and bringing in other leading experts in health and performance fields to educate the staff at Sessions.
In addition to his experience and continuing education, Zach holds multiple a Master’s in Exercise Science – Strength and Conditioning from Edith Cowan University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology with minors in Kinesiology and Business Administration from the University of Southern California as well as industry-leading certifications, including NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Precision Nutrition, Functional Movement Screen, and the Art of Coaching.
